<description>I was just wondering how high is to high when your landlord increase their rent.
I aam living in a bedroom apartment here at Autumnwood in Arlington, TX.
My rent is $367.00 plus water and etc. Come July 1ST my rent will go up to $550.00 a month the difference of $183.00. My rent did not go up $10.00 or $20.00 it went up $183.00. (I had only a week to let them know if I except the increase).
they told me reason why it went up was beacuse of the market and that people were foreclosing on their homes and moving into apartments and that is what cause them to increase my rent.
Can landlords increase rent that high?
Please let me know
Thsnk you Rae ann Aberle
